In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: nv: Fix SPSR_EL2 restore in kvm_hyp_handle_mops()… (CVE-2026-64555)CVE-2026-64555 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's KVM module for arm64 architecture was resolved. The issue involved incorrect handling of the SPSR_EL2 register restore in the kvm_hyp_handle_mops() function during nested virtualization. The function failed to translate a synthetic value before writing it to hardware, potentially causing state inconsistencies. The fix modifies SPSR_EL2 directly, avoiding the synthetic state and ensuring proper synchronization on exit back to KVM.
