A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's iommu/vt-d component was resolved by forcing the request for ACS (Access Control Services) when tboot is enabled. The issue was that the detection function did not consider tboot, potentially causing ACS to be disabled due to user options while iommu was forced on by tboot_force_iommu(). This could lead to a misconfiguration of IOMMU security settings.
