A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's NFS server (NFSD) related to NFSv4.0 revoked-state cleanup has been resolved. The issue arises when the client reference is not properly pinned during stateid cleanup, potentially allowing the client to be freed while still in use. This race condition occurs during periodic cleanup operations and client expiration triggered by writes to client control files.
