This can lead to memory exhaustion, degraded service responsiveness, and a denial of service (DoS) condition. The issue is tracked as CVE-2026-73198 with a high severity rating and a CVSS score of 7.5. No official patch is currently available, but mitigation is possible by configuring Apache to limit the request body size for the affected endpoint. This mitigation requires restarting the Apache HTTP Server and ensuring any reverse proxies or load balancers enforce similar limits.
