A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ASoC fsl_audmix component was resolved by adding validation for enum values before conversion. The functions fsl_audmix_put_mix_clk_src() and fsl_audmix_put_out_src() previously converted user-provided enum items before checking their validity, which could lead to out-of-range values being used improperly. The fix ensures that out-of-range enum items are rejected prior to conversion.
