In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus/adm1266) reject implausible blackbox record_count… (CVE-2026-64087)CVE-2026-64087 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's hwmon subsystem for the pmbus/adm1266 driver allowed an out-of-bounds read due to an unchecked record_count value from a device's BLACKBOX_INFO response. The issue was fixed by capping the record_count to a maximum allowed value before processing. This prevents potential memory corruption caused by malformed device responses.
