CVE-2025-22075 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's rtnetlink subsystem where the allocation size for virtual function (VF) information did not account for VF GUIDs when supported. This caused netlink messages to be too large, resulting in errors and kernel warnings when querying network interfaces with many VF GUIDs. The issue was fixed by adjusting the allocation size to include VF port and node GUIDs.
