CVE-2025-36520 is a null pointer dereference vulnerability in the net_connectmsg Protocol Buffer Message functionality of Bloomberg Comdb2 version 8.1. This flaw can be triggered by specially crafted network packets, causing a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to disrupt service availability by sending malicious packets.
