A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's spi: ep93xx driver could lead to a null pointer dereference after a DMA setup failure. The driver attempts to fall back to PIO mode if DMA setup fails during probe, but failing to clear DMA channel pointers on setup failure may cause dereferencing of an error pointer during later probe errors or driver unbind. This issue has been fixed in the Linux kernel. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 07/19/2026, 18:31:54 UTC Added: 07/19/2026, 19:38:16 UTC |
