The issue involved improper cancellation of worker threads during device removal, which could lead to use-after-free conditions. Specifically, two workers referencing a devm-allocated structure were not properly canceled, allowing a worker to run after the structure was freed. The fix involved using devm_work_autocancel() and devm_delayed_work_autocancel() to ensure workers are canceled before freeing resources.
