In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: hpsa: Fix DMA mapping leak on IOACCEL2 reset path If phys_disk->in_reset… (CVE-2026-72088)CVE-2026-72088 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's scsi hpsa driver caused a DMA mapping resource leak on the IOACCEL2 reset path. When phys_disk->in_reset is set, the function returned prematurely without releasing acquired resources, leading to potential resource exhaustion. The issue has been fixed by adding proper cleanup steps to unmap the IOACCEL2 scatter-gather chain block, unmap the SCSI command, and decrement the outstanding IOACCEL command count before returning.
