A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's NFS server (nfsd) related to the handling of nanoseconds in TIME_DELEG decode paths has been resolved. The issue involved missing validation of the nseconds field in timespec structures, allowing malformed timespec values to propagate to disk operations. This flaw was fixed by adding range checks in the relevant kernel source files. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 09/11/2026, 21:31:37 UTC Added: 09/12/2026, 00:42:36 UTC |
