A high-severity out-of-bounds read vulnerability (CWE-125) was identified and fixed in the orangefs_debug_write function of the Linux kernel's OrangeFS component. The issue was reported by syzbot and addressed by applying a patch based on community suggestions. This flaw could lead to a denial of service due to memory corruption.
