In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vt: stabilize tty reference in kbd_keycode with tty_port_tty_get kbd_keycode()… (CVE-2026-74675)CVE-2026-74675 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's virtual terminal (vt) subsystem was resolved by stabilizing the tty reference in the kbd_keycode function. The issue involved kbd_keycode() reading vc->port.tty without holding a proper reference, which could race against con_shutdown() clearing port.tty under a different lock. The fix uses tty_port_tty_get() and tty_kref_put() to maintain a proper reference while the tty pointer is accessed.
