In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: sja1105: round up PTP perout pin duration pin_duration is converted… (CVE-2026-72414)CVE-2026-72414 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's net: dsa: sja1105 driver could cause a division by zero error due to improper handling of very small period values for PTP perout pin duration. The issue arises when the user-provided period is converted to hardware clock ticks and results in zero, which is then passed to a function that performs division. This has been resolved by rounding zero durations up to one tick to avoid division by zero. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/15/2026, 06:32:23 UTC Added: 08/15/2026, 15:53:19 UTC |
