GHSA-qv4m-m73m-8hj7: NotrinosERP: Authenticated arbitrary file upload leads to remote code execution via HRM employee "Documents" (doc_file) 0 An authenticated user with the HR "Manage Employees" permission (SA_EMPLOYEE) in NotrinosERP version 1.0.0 and earlier can upload arbitrary files through the employee Documents tab. The uploaded file is saved under the web root with the original filename and extension intact, without any validation or sanitization, allowing a .php file to be uploaded and executed. This leads to remote code execution on the server. The vulnerability also allows path traversal via crafted filenames. The uploaded file's URL is exposed unescaped in the UI, facilitating exploitation. The vulnerability requires authentication and a valid CSRF token but no further file validation is performed.
