In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmet: fix pre-auth out-of-bounds heap read in Discovery Get Log Page… (CVE-2026-64320)CVE-2026-64320 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's nvmet subsystem allows unauthenticated attackers to perform an out-of-bounds heap read via the Discovery Get Log Page command. The issue arises because the host-supplied Log Page Offset is only checked for dword alignment but not validated against the buffer size, leading to potential leakage of kernel memory contents or kernel crashes. This vulnerability affects the discovery controller, which is accessible pre-authentication over TCP/RDMA/FC. The vulnerability has been resolved by validating the offset against the log page size, capping the copy length, and zero-filling the remainder of the transfer buffer to prevent information leakage.
