(CVE-2026-8457)CVE-2026-8457 0 The WooCommerce - Social Login plugin for WordPress up to and including version 2.8.7 contains a critical authentication bypass vulnerability. The issue arises because the Apple login handler accepts an Apple id_token and decodes only its base64 payload without verifying the JWT signature or validating key claims such as issuer, audience, or expiry. Additionally, a security nonce required for the login flow is publicly exposed to unauthenticated users. This combination allows attackers to forge an id_token with a target user's email address and gain authenticated access as that user, including administrators.
