A vulnerability in the DNS over TCP implementation of Cisco Secure Firewall ASA and FTD Software allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause the device to reload by sending a specially crafted DNS response. This results in a denial of service condition. Exploitation requires the attacker to respond to DNS queries from the device, either by controlling the DNS service or via a man-in-the-middle attack.
