In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: apparmor: fix uninitialised pointer passed to audit_log_untrustedstring() Commit… (CVE-2026-72455)CVE-2026-72455 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel AppArmor module involved an uninitialized pointer being passed to audit_log_untrustedstring(), which could cause a kernel page fault. This was due to a bug introduced in a commit that allowed path_name() to pass an uninitialized name pointer if the path's dentry was replaced with aa_null.dentry. The issue was observed causing kernel crashes on openSUSE Tumbleweed 7.0.2. The vulnerability has been resolved by initializing variables passed to path_name().
