GHSA-r8mh-x5qv-7gg2CVE-2026-55200 0 An out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in libssh2 through version 1.11.1 in the ssh2_transport_read() function. The vulnerability occurs because the upper bounds on the packet_length field are not enforced. Remote attackers can exploit this by sending specially crafted SSH packets with excessively large packet_length values, leading to heap memory corruption and potential remote code execution. The issue is fixed in a commit identified as 7acf3df. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 06/17/2026, 21:34:39 UTC Added: 06/30/2026, 23:36:28 UTC |
