The D-Link DIR-600L Hardware Revision A1 device contains a hardcoded telnet backdoor that allows unauthenticated attackers on the local network to gain root shell access. The device runs a telnet daemon at boot with a fixed username and password, granting full administrative control. This device is End-of-Life and will not receive patches.
