A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the WS-Addressing Action transformation function of the Sofia IPC daemon in Xiongmai IP Camera XM530 firmware HMT.CM2005-v220608.1837 and earlier. This vulnerability can be triggered remotely by unauthenticated attackers sending a crafted SOAP request with a wsa5:Action string longer than 128 bytes. Exploitation may cause denial of service or potentially allow arbitrary code execution.
