In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: touchwin - reset the packet index on every complete packet tw_interrupt()… (CVE-2026-64271)CVE-2026-64271 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's touchwin input driver allows a malicious or faulty Touchwindow device to cause an unbounded heap out-of-bounds write. This occurs because the packet index is only reset when two device-controlled bytes match, enabling an attacker to overflow a fixed three-byte buffer by sending crafted input. The issue has been resolved by resetting the index on every completed packet regardless of byte equality.
