CVE-2026-58087 is a local privilege escalation vulnerability in the semctl(2) system call's GETALL and SETALL commands. These commands improperly handle semaphore sets by relying on a sequence number that can wrap after extensive create/destroy cycles. An unprivileged local user can exploit this to cause out-of-bounds reads and writes on kernel heap memory, potentially leading to privilege escalation.
