DIRAC: Pilot code downloaded over unverified HTTPS connection (CVE-2026-61668)CVE-2026-61668 0 DIRAC's pilot wrapper script downloads the second stage pilot code over an HTTPS connection without verifying the SSL certificate. Although the downloaded code's checksum is checked, the checksum file itself is retrieved over the same unverified channel, allowing potential tampering. This vulnerability could enable a man-in-the-middle attacker to alter the pilot code and execute arbitrary commands with pilot-level credentials. The issue affects DIRAC versions from 6.20.1 up to but not including 8.0.79, and from 9.1.0 up to but not including 9.1.10. Patched versions are available.
