0

A memory leak vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter bridge nftables component was resolved. The issue occurs when a conntrack template is attached to a socket buffer (skb) on non-IP Ethernet types, but the existing template reference is not properly released, causing memory to leak until system resources are exhausted. The fix resets the skb conntrack state before marking the frame as untracked, ensuring proper release of the template reference.
