CVE-2025-37801 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's spi-imx driver where a missing check on the return value of spi_imx_setupxfer() can lead to a NULL pointer dereference. This occurs because spi_imx->rx and spi_imx->tx function pointers may be NULL if spi_imx_setupxfer() returns an error, causing the kernel to attempt to access a NULL pointer and crash. The issue has been resolved by adding the necessary check.
