In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btnxpuart: Fix out-of-bounds firmware read in nxp_recv_fw_req_v3()… (CVE-2026-64407)CVE-2026-64407 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel Bluetooth driver btnxpuart allows an out-of-bounds firmware read during the v3 firmware download process. The function nxp_recv_fw_req_v3() does not properly check that the requested offset and length stay within the firmware image bounds, potentially causing memory beyond the firmware data to be read and sent over UART. This issue has been fixed by adding boundary checks and rejecting invalid requests. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 07/25/2026, 12:31:34 UTC Added: 07/25/2026, 23:08:58 UTC |
