A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's iio gyro driver for the adis16260 sensor allowed a division by zero error in the write_raw function. This occurred when a user wrote zero to the sampling_frequency sysfs attribute, which was used as a divisor without validation. The issue has been resolved by adding a validation check for the sampling frequency value before use.
