CVE-2024-46737 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's nvmet-tcp subsystem where a kernel crash occurs if command allocation fails. This happens due to a NULL pointer dereference in nvmet_tcp_release_queue_work() when nvmet_tcp_alloc_cmds() fails to allocate commands. The issue is fixed by setting the queue's command count to zero upon allocation failure.
