In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ata: libata-core: Reject an invalid concurrent positioning ranges count… (CVE-2026-72030)CVE-2026-72030 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ATA subsystem (libata-core) was resolved that involved improper handling of the concurrent positioning ranges count reported by a device. The vulnerability allowed a device to report an invalid count that could cause buffer overflows during log reading and response buffer emission.
