In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: retrieve ethhdr after potential skb realloc on RX pskb_may_pull() in… (CVE-2026-72235)CVE-2026-72235 0 A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's batman-adv module was resolved. The issue involved improper handling of the ethernet header pointer after a potential buffer reallocation by pskb_may_pull() in the batadv_interface_rx() function. While the VLAN header pointer was correctly reassigned after reallocation, the ethernet header pointer was not, leading to use-after-free during TT and AP isolation handling.
