The server's write verifier is not reset when these errors occur, causing clients to mistakenly believe their data is durable after a COMMIT operation, potentially leading to silent data loss. This violates the durability guarantees defined in relevant NFS RFCs. The issue has been resolved by adding calls to reset the write verifier on these error paths.
