CVE-2025-22046 is a medium-severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel's uprobes/x86 subsystem. It involves hardening the uretprobe syscall trampoline check to prevent improper syscall invocation from addresses near the bottom of the address space. This issue was reported due to a possible flaw in trampoline_check_ip allowing calls into the syscall when uretprobes are not properly set up. The vulnerability has been addressed by improving the syscall trampoline check logic.
