CVE-2026-18649: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling in Red Hat Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10CVE-2026-18649 0 A vulnerability in the GStreamer gst-plugins-good package affects the rtph264depay and rtph265depay RTP depayloader elements, which do not limit the size of the reassembly buffer during fragmented RTP packet processing. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this by sending a continuous stream of RTP fragments without an end-of-fragment marker, causing unbounded memory growth and resulting in denial of service via process termination. The vulnerability is exploitable when processing RTP from untrusted sources without authentication. Deployments using SRTP or DTLS-SRTP mitigate the risk by rejecting unauthenticated packets before they reach the vulnerable elements.
