The issue arises from improper validation of the orderLength field in the RAIL PDU header, leading to an unsigned integer underflow and subsequent out-of-bounds heap write. This can be exploited by a malicious or compromised RDP client to cause a server crash. The vulnerability is fixed in FreeRDP version 3.29.0.
