A potential memory leak vulnerability in the Linux kernel's i740fb framebuffer driver was identified and resolved. The issue occurred in the i740fb_probe() function where allocated memory for the modelist was not freed on error paths. The fix involves properly freeing this memory by calling fb_destroy_modelist().
