0

A memory leak vulnerability in the Linux kernel's NTFS driver was fixed. The issue occurs in the function ntfs_non_resident_attr_insert_range() where allocated memory for hole_rl is not freed on a specific error path, causing a leak of a small amount of memory. The fix ensures that hole_rl is freed properly before returning from the error path.
