A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's usbip subsystem was fixed to address a NULL pointer dereference in the vep_dequeue() function. The issue was caused by vep_alloc_request() not initializing a pointer (vrequest->udc), leading to invalid cancellations on the FunctionFS AIO path. This bug appears to have existed for about 10 years and could cause kernel crashes when using usbip with FunctionFS endpoints. The fix removes the unused pointer and updates vep_dequeue() to properly obtain the UDC reference.
