(CVE-2026-74289)CVE-2026-74289 0 A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's IPv4 fib (Forwarding Information Base) handling was resolved. The issue involved unsafe reference counting when dumping fib_info structures under RCU, leading to potential use-after-free conditions. The vulnerability was reported by syzbot and affects functions related to fib_info lifetime management in IPv4 routing code. IPv6 is not affected due to different locking mechanisms.
