In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/ts4800: Fix missing chained handler cleanup on remove The driver… (CVE-2026-72384)CVE-2026-72384 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's irqchip/ts4800 driver was resolved that involved improper cleanup of a chained interrupt handler during driver removal. The driver failed to clear the chained handler, leaving a dangling pointer that could be invoked after the driver was removed, potentially causing a kernel crash due to access of freed memory. The fix involved saving the parent interrupt identifier, clearing the chained handler on removal, and properly disposing of interrupt mappings to prevent resource leaks.
