CVE-2024-40851 is a vulnerability in iOS and iPadOS where an attacker with physical access to a locked device could access contact photos from the lock screen. This issue was addressed by restricting options available on the locked device. The vulnerability is fixed in iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1.
