In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtw88: fix OOB read from firmware RX descriptor exceeding DMA buffer In… (CVE-2026-74410)CVE-2026-74410 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's rtw88 WiFi driver was resolved that could cause an out-of-bounds read from a DMA buffer. The issue occurs because the computed length for copying data from the firmware RX descriptor can exceed the allocated buffer size, leading to a potential memory safety violation. This flaw affects the PCIe transport path, where no prior validation was done on the length value. The vulnerability has been fixed by adding a check to ensure the length does not exceed the DMA buffer size.
