A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel Bluetooth ISO subsystem was resolved. The flaw occurs when the iso_conn_ready() function creates a child socket from a listener socket that may have been concurrently closed and freed, leading to dereferencing a dangling pointer. This can cause memory corruption and potentially allow an attacker to impact confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The issue was fixed by re-checking the listener socket's state after acquiring its lock to ensure it is still valid before proceeding.
