Gitea.dev: Gitea: Cross-repository IDOR in issue-dependency removal lets an attacker tamper with and comment on private repos they cannot access (CVE-2026-58438)CVE-2026-58438 0 A cross-repository Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability in Gitea before version 1.27.0 allows an attacker with write access to issues in one repository to remove issue dependencies and post comments on issues in private repositories they cannot access. This occurs because the RemoveDependency function lacks proper permission checks for cross-repository dependencies, unlike the AddDependency function. The vulnerability enables unauthorized modification of issue dependency links and injection of attacker-authored comments in private repositories without read or write access.
