The issue involved an imbalance in handling IOPF (I/O Page Fault) enablement and disablement on devices that do not support PCI/PRI. Specifically, the unbind path attempted to disable IOPF for devices where it was never enabled, causing a kernel warning. The fix ensures that IOPF operations are bypassed correctly in both bind and unbind paths for non-PRI hardware.
