MAL-2026-10038: Malicious code in antsrcsrctest (npm) 0 The npm package 'antsrcsrctest' version 1.0.0 contains malicious code that executes during installation. Its preinstall script collects extensive environment information and system details, including container detection artifacts and process information, then sends this data over unencrypted HTTP to an attacker-controlled server. It also queries the Alibaba Cloud instance metadata service for temporary IAM credentials and forwards these credentials to the attacker. The package masquerades as a simple date formatting utility, using a minimal legitimate-looking index.js file as a decoy to hide its malicious behavior.
