MAL-2026-10108: Malicious code in url-func-registry (npm) 0 The npm package url-func-registry version 1.0.4 contains malicious code that executes arbitrary JavaScript fetched from a publicly-editable JSON hosting service. This occurs through a factory function 'createJsonService' registered as 'JsonS' that downloads code from an author-controlled pastebin and executes it with full code execution privileges in the consumer environment. The malicious payload can be changed at any time without republishing the package. The backdoor activates only when the factory is invoked or enumerated by downstream consumers.
