MAL-2026-10178: Malicious code in @broadpeak/smartlib-ad (npm) 0 The npm package @broadpeak/smartlib-ad version 24.1.10 contains malicious code that executes automatically during installation. It collects detailed host and user environment information and sends it to an attacker-controlled external server. The package does not provide any legitimate functionality and appears to be a dependency confusion attack impersonating an internal Broadpeak package. This results in leakage of sensitive environment data and confirms code execution in the build environment.
